What Can a Princess Teach an Event Coordinator?
Summer 1983, Edmonton. The World University Games are under way, and a young event coordinator from the University of Alberta meets Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Within months she moves to Los Angeles to join the Olympic Organizing Committee, starting in data administration. By the 1984 Games she is a protocol officer.
Protocol is relationships under pressure: every name right, every introduction timed, every guest made to feel expected. Sherrie Rose learned it on a world stage, and it became the skill behind everything that followed.
She took it into technology. Through the dotcom years she was a relationship investor and strategic relationship builder while companies appeared and vanished around her. She coached experts to reach audiences through webinars and wrote The Webinar Way, years before video calls became daily life.
The stages grew. She presented at Ashford Castle in Ireland and gave the opening keynote at the inaugural Fellow Summit of the London-based Association for Coaching. Along the way she studied psychology at the University of Alberta, took coursework at McGill University, and studied high-tech marketing at UCLA.
One motto connects all four decades: "The Real Currency is Relationship Riches." Marquis Who's Who recognized the career. Masterwork360 is where she puts it to use today, helping accomplished people develop their masterwork from decades of worthy experience.
Correction to the release: the release dates The Webinar Way to 2010 and describes enhavim as a creative planning tool. The first edition of The Webinar Way was published in 2012. Enhavim, a word coined by Sherrie Rose, is purpose and mission led by vision. The release also names Masterwork Ventures, her company at the time. See sourced facts and corrections.
